Hi I was wondering whether there is someone or some group going to Lhasa/Tibet in August. I am leaving in August 10 by train and I could spend only 10 days for the trip (needs to get back to bj before August 21). I have tried but found it difficult to buy the ticket, so probably I will first go to Lanzhou or Xining and then make a transfer to Lhasa. But it doesn't matter if you want to go by plane. We could meet in Lhasa.
I am a Chinese girl with some relevant independant travel experiences. I want to find some nice company so that we could take care and share experiences during the trip.
I haven't decided the route yet, but I have limited budget and time so I will probably just visit some two or three more places beside Lhasa.
